Christmas to Go

This year, why not see how the rest of the world celebrates?CATHERINE CALVERT and family have forged a tradition of not staying home for the holidaysWhen I learned 10 years ago that my husband's job would be moving us from New York to Munich, I had the usual worries—schools, friends, how to say "bathroom" in German. But what actually kept me awake at night was Christmas. Having always observed the holidays with hallowed traditions, we suddenly realized we were going to be a long way from over the river and through the woods. Luckily, our new home was in Germany, which dives into the winter holidays with enthusiasm, stringing up lights and calling out an army of angels.

How Apple and Amazon Security Flaws Led to My Epic Hacking

In the space of one hour, my entire digital life was destroyed. First my Google account was taken over, then deleted. Next my Twitter account was compromised, and used as a platform to broadcast racist and homophobic messages. And worst of all, my AppleID account was broken into, and my hackers used it to remotely erase all of the data on my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook. In many ways, this was all my fault. My accounts were daisy-chained together. Getting into Amazon let my hackers get into my Apple ID account, which helped them get into Gmail, which gave them access to Twitter.

Google Docs - Android Apps on Google Play

This app is just so good. It helps me keep track of all of my notes and I just love how you can work offline. However, on the other hand, I am not really a big fan of the layouts and how the interior looks. I am more fond of the online layout ( The website one ). If there is one thing that I am asking it would be too, kind of update it, so it would look just like the online version. Also could you please apply different fonts. -Krysten Perreira. .

Apparently, Polanskis Problems Arent Just Off Screen: The Ghost Writer

Abandon hope all ye who enter here for you will not be seeing an unheralded masterpiece by one of film’s final auteurs. While his name has been bandied about more for his recent return run-in with the law, Roman Polanski remains a brilliant filmmaker with a considered oeuvre. Sure, he sullied it along the way, be it with admissions of statutory rape, or movies like Pirates, but when you carry a canon that contains the likes of Repulsion, Rosemary’s Baby, Chinatown, and The Tenant, we can forgive a few Bitter Moons along the way. His latest, an adaptation of Robert Harris’ political thriller The Ghost, may seem like a natural for the aging artist.

For every writing problem there’s a solution – just ask a writer

I had enough – I was officially sick of my own voice. I seemed to always be talking about me, about Write-Track, about why, how and what. As it was my birthday this week I wanted to make it about other people. So I sent an email into the ether asking about you – the writers using the website. Here’s what happened. Write-Track is growing with writers joining the community every day. I got sight of their goals, their dreams and updates. But who were they? And what were they writing? I genuinely wanted to know and the only way to find out was to ask.
